The Ascano Dream PID is an attractive coffee machine and it is a brilliant performer, bringing café quality coffee to your home.

This machine may look like an appliance. That’s because some appliance manufacturers have copied the design. Don’t let this fool you. This machine is not a cheap appliance. It is a high quality, rock solid coffee machine.

However, a PID isn’t really needed on a thermoblock machine. The reason for this is that a thermoblock machine can be thermally stable without a PID, and this one is thermally stable near 93 deg C which is all most people need. So unless you are an espresso enthusiast, keen to play with different brew temperatures, consider dropping back to the Ascaso Dream One
